Meet Elle Swan
Elle Swan is a world traveler who has faced lions in South Africa, swum in the Indian Ocean, jumped out of airplanes at 15,000 feet, and raced around the NASCAR track.
She’s a fashion icon who has reveled with Roberto Cavalli and other celebrities on his yacht during the Cannes Film Festival. She’s toasted champagne with Tom Ford at his store opening in Las Vegas. She’s the type of woman who has spent evenings in the presence of Diane von Furstenberg and Oprah Winfrey at a United Nations gala, BUT remains committed to teaching the everyday woman how to make a comeback in her life.
Having grown up in a single-parent home in Detroit, Elle knows what it takes to start from the bottom and make it to the top. At eight years old, she published her first essay. Later, Elle received an academic scholarship to Oberlin College, graduating magna cum laude. After college, she moved to New York City, where she became a freelance journalist for The Source, Paper, and The Village Voice.
Elle’s creative desires eventually led her to Los Angeles, where she worked as a producer on TV shows such as ‘N Gear (with Tyson Beckford) and on films such as Deliver Us Eva (with Gabrielle Union and LL Cool J). During a hiatus from production work, Elle decided to pursue her natural interest in the spiritual arts, for which she studied hypnosis, Yoga, and neurolinguistic programming.
Those modalities inform the work Elle does today as an international speaker, author, and life coach. With more than 100 TV appearances, Elle and her strategies have been featured on ABC, FOX, NBC, PBS and in The Wall Street Journal.
